The Medical Academy provides you with an introduction to the field of medicine where you'll explore topics ranging from human anatomy and physiology, microbiology and infectious diseases, to surgery, cancer, and biomedical ethics.

Through daily interactions with faculty, you will explore the field of nursing where you will learn fundamentals of the profession including ethics, cultural competencies, biological, physical, and social sciences–and engage in hands-on clinical experiences using a lifelike patient simulator. 



1-Week Forensic Science Academy
In Georgetown's Forensic Science Academy, you'll gain a firsthand look at the world of forensic science from professionals in the field—including investigators, detectives, crime scene technicians, and pathologists.
